Guylaine Bourgeault has always been an inspired, creative, innovative woman and with everything she touched, decided to enroll in the three-year training (1976-1979) in cutting and haute couture at the private school Laurette Cotnoir in Montreal.
Guylaine began to take an interest in sewing very early on and has always pursued her passion. After her first fashion show in 1982, she worked for the next fifteen years in the artistic and cinematographic world. In 1998, she perfected her skills in clothing production management at Collège Marie-Victorin.
Guylaine thinks to herself: “Might as well continue! She then decided to enroll at the University of Quebec in Montreal to do her bachelor’s degree in professional fashion education and obtained it in 2001, as well as her teaching certificate. She never stops!
Guylaine Bourgeault is currently at the head of the Coutures & Couture school, where she offers training programs in tailoring and pattern creation. While relying on a personalized approach, she develops new niches and seeks to transmit to all generations this vast cultural heritage that is couture.

Note: the course sessions are for a period of 8 renewable weeks. Either 3 or 5 hours per week, depending on the day. See the schedule.
Tuesday – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (5 hours of lessons for 8 weeks).
Wednesday – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (5 hours of lessons for 8 weeks).
Thursday – Beginner course from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (a new class from March 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
Friday – Mixed course from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday – Beginner course from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
